Environmental toxicity & how to reduce your exposure – Public Talk

The how and where toxicity lies within our environment, how we can measure it, how we can reduce our exposure to it and how to ensure our bodies have the best chance to facilitate toxin removal effectively. She will also discuss particular heavy metals and the nutrients they displace, and how these may manifest into ill health. Everything from cancer to chronic fatigue, will usually incorporate some form of heavy metal / toxin excess, and a failure by the body to eliminate toxins effectively.

The aim of this workshop is to “Empower” you with knowledge so you can make simple changes that pack a big health punch! Subject matter includes; How to eat healthfully at Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and snacks, How to decipher food labelling, Stress, Sleep and Toxicity. Includes handouts, food sampling, recipes and resources, for you to take home and utilise in your daily lives.
Shopping Tours
90 min session with short talk and supermarket walk through
Limited to a maximum of 6 participants and a minimum of 3 participants.
Typically held at the Aldi store at Mitcham, this tour begins with a brief discussion on what to look for when picking up packaged foods from a supermarket. Aldi stores are preferable, as they have wider aisles and management have given permission for the tours. The information learnt on the tour is relevant for any supermarket and any products found on any shelves. This tour is about learning what to look for and what to watch out for, not an Aldi promotion tour.
Tours are organised on request and the cost is $50 each and includes handouts and a goodie bag.
A Cuppa with Con – The Con Versationalist – Free Webcast
The death of her husband as a result of an aggressive and inoperable brain tumor lead her to ask more questions and really challenge the information she was given. On an extremely informative and thought provoking episode of “A Cuppa with The Con Versationalist” Irene shared:- How her perceived “healthy” diet was not healthy at all.- Wet a slice of bread you eat and squeeze it…wonder why you have intestinal issues?- The effect of stress on our Magnesium and how prescribed medications can deplete our bodies of vital Vitamins and Minerals.- Health is not a “one size fit’s all” and the consumption of “miracle” products may work for some but NOT for all and much more! Her strong but simple message was, the less processed your food is, the better it is for you and don’t just accept what you are told….ask why?
